LAURIEANN GIBSON DOING HER THANG!!!

Most of us were first officially introduced to LaurieAnn Gibson, as the crazy boom-kacking choreographer Diddy loved to throw on his “Making the Band” minions to whip them in to tip-top shape. Since then, LaurieAnn has played a major role in helping to shape the career of pop icon, Lady Gaga as well as work with superstars like Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, Usher and Keri Hilson. As word spread that working with Laurie Ann could help solidify a number one spot, opportunities kept surfacing, which allowed her career to move from dancer to choreographer to creative director; and boldly Laurie Ann grips all three labels.
Now, we are able to see those special moments between LaurieAnn and aspiring dancers in her new E! reality show, “The Dance Scene”, created by Ryan Seacrest.  In 8 episodes, we’ll be reintroduced to Laurie Ann as a business woman, putting together shows and videos for Keri Hilson and Lady Gaga. “The Dance Scene” dives into Laurie Ann’s creativity, tough love approach to improving  her Boomkack Studio dancers and the blood, sweat and tears that serve as a prerequisite for dancing on a “great stage”.

FORMER XSCAPE MEMBER AND RHOA STAR GETS HER OWN TV SHOW!!!

Kandi’s not only a major force in the music industry, she’s “Real” Housewifes of Atlanta, has a popular online sex talk show, AND has her own line of sex toys. There’s no stopping this one!
Details below:
Bravo has officially gave Kandi the greenlight for “The Kandi Factory,” a new special following “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and multi-platinum songwriter.
It was Burruss’ work on RHOA with Kim Zolciak‘s single “Tardy for the Party” that led to her new show.
Because of the huge popularity of the song (and due to the fact that she single-handedly turned a tone deaf jumpoff into a digital download phenomenon), Kandi has been bombarded by thousands of wannabe artists desperate for her popstar secrets.

TYRESE GETS KICKED OFF RADIO STATION FOR SPEAKING HIS MIND!!!

So apparently having the “freedom of speech” as an amendment still doesn’t mean you can’t get kicked out of an radio station for speaking your mind. If you don’t understand what we’re trying to say well just ask Tyrese Gibson. Recently during a promo run, his thoughts got him kicked out!
The singer/model/actor and now author, stopped by Delaware Radio Station Kiss 101.7 on a promo run, but had his conversation cut short when he addressed the fact that there was a liquor store in such close proximity to an elementary school.  Tyrese saw it as good hearted-advice, but it was perceived as rude by the station. Really?! Tell us what y’all think about what was said…
“Get them cats out of here … selling alcohol right across from your kids school, homie — put the pressure on them homie … you know how to put pressure on dudes selling in your hood.”
After said comment, during the commercial break the Program Director told Tyrese to hit the road jack. Well according to his tweets right after the fact:
“I just kicked out of a radio station frm a PD who had a problem w/ me speaking on liquor stores that are by elementary schools in Delaware. In 17 years I hv NEVER been kicked out of a radio station.. Because I have a problem w/ liquor stores being across from elementary schools?
I was also told that the PD made them ERASE my interview so that NO ONE could HEAR me SPEAK on the issue of the liquor stores near kids..
Love is love y’all .. When you stand for something.. You will create a shift in the universe.. Salute to all of you for your support!
If you don’t STAND for something.. You will damn near fall for Anything..”
Ridiculous. When they were asked if it was true, they told press Yes, and it’s because he was “disrespecting” the Delaware Community.

LIL GEORGE JUNIUS

NEVER FORGET: Meet the Youngest Person Ever Executed in US (Yes. He’s Black)

Sep, 28 2011

His name is George Junius Stinney, Jr. [b. 1929 - d. 1944], he was 14 yrs. 6mos. and 5 days old when he was executed — he and holds the title of being the youngest person ever executed in the United States in the 20th Century.
In a South Carolina prison sixty-six years ago, guards walked the 14-year-old boy, bible tucked under his arm, to the electric chair.
Standing only 5′ 1″ and weighing a mere 95 pounds, the straps of the chair didn’t fit, and an electrode was too big for his leg.
But that didn’t matter. The switch was pulled anyway and the adult sized death mask fell from George Stinney’s face. Tears streamed from his eyes. Witnesses recoiled in horror as they sat and watched the youngest person ever executed in the United States in the past century die.
Stinney was accused of killing two white girls, 11 year old Betty June Binnicker and 8 year old Mary Emma Thames, by beating them with a railroad spike then dragging their bodies to a ditch near Acolu, about five miles from Manning in central South Carolina.
The girls were found a day after they disappeared following a massive manhunt. Stinney was arrested a few hours later when white men in suits came and took him away. Because of the risk of a lynching, Stinney was kept at a jail 50 miles away in Columbia, SC.
Stinney’s father, who had helped look for the girls, was fired immediately and ordered to leave his home and the sawmill where he worked. His family was told to leave town prior to the trial to avoid further retribution. An atmosphere of lynch mob hysteria hung over the courthouse.
Without family visits, the 14 year old had to endure the trial and death alone.

DEATH OF MICHEAL JACKSON CONRAD MURRAY'S TRIAL!!!!

(September 26) marked day one of Dr. Conrad Murray’s trial for involuntary manslaughter of allegedly causing Michael Jackson’s death two years ago — it’s already causing a media circus.
A picture of the late pop star lying on a gurney , presumably dead, hit the internet after Deputy District Attorney David Walgren introduced a blown up version during trial (yes, the Jackson family was present in the courtroom…so much for any sensitivity to their loss).  In addition, disturbing audio featuring MJ speaking in a deeper, slurred voice—allegedly under the influence of prescription drugs—a far change from the soft, high pitched voice fans remember him speaking in.
Meanwhile some 300 news outlets packed the inside and outside of the courtroom during trial—many live streaming the trial—and Michael’s own sister LaToya Jackson Tweeted a play by play.
Of course the world wants to know what really happened to the King of Pop, but the entire spectacle is already playing out like it was “Made for TV” more than anything,  which is sickening especially considering this is only the beginning. Guess the media still can’t “leave him alone,” and isn’t that what contributed heavily to all his sleepless nights in the first place?
Are you watching the trial? What do you think of the way it’s being handled?
